No, I did not make a mistake; the watch is on his arm, not wrist.

To explain this clearly, we have to go back to several years ago when he was a handsome young man.

At that time, he fell in love with a beautiful girl. However, he was from a poor family while the girl was well born. So, the girl’s family firmly opposed them to get married.

So, he decided to venture out into the world and earn enough money to get marry with the girl.

One day, the girl asked him out secretly and gave him a Breitling watch and said, “You see, these two Breitling watches are a couple. I will wear this one on my right wrist and you wear that one on your right wrist. Every time you see the watch, it means you are missing me and I will feel it. I will wait for you!”

He put on the wristwatch on his right wrist immediately and found the chain was a little bit longer than needed. So, he decided to get it fixed the next day.

On the second day, he took the bus to the watch store to get the chain just suitable for his wrist. When he was on the bus, he couldn’t stop held up his right hand and take a look at the precious Breitling watch from time to time. Then, the bus bumped fiercely suddenly. So, his right hand got amputation and left only the arm. As he thought he could not make the girl happy with only one hand, he chose to leave the village forever. And from then on, he would always wear the Breitling watch on his right arm.
