I still remember my first watch given to me as my birthday gift by my grandfather. It’s more or less like the picture above. Kind of classic look, very pure and simple design, but it’s very comfortable to have on and works quite well. It still lies in my drawer and there’s something between it and me, something not so easy to talk about. It’s getting older and older, but our friendship is getting tighter and tighter.

As I grow up, the watch on my wrist changes its looks. For the internet is taking a role in human beings’ lives, I get to know more about the watch from it, the history and the culture of watches, especially the ones made in the west. If I call Swiss as a representative watch country, I do think nobody will object to it. Yeah! For most of the people around me, we know this country just for watches, name brand watch, high-tech watch, military watch and so on. Among them, I do like Rolex watches the best.

Rolex watches are well known for its stunning design and high quality. This brand of watch is exclusive because of the great amount of time that is being put into the materials selecting and products manufacturing. For most of us, it may be called a dream to own one Rolex watch. While the truth is Rolex watches owners are mostly the wealthiest and high-earning individuals. And for me right now, it’s also a dream. But it’s not unreachable, I swear I’ll get one like I promise myself a nice roadster. Why am I so confident? Cause’ I am right on the way and I’m getting closer and closer. (Hahahaha!) It may sound weird that lots of dollars are spent on the name brand watches. But as a rich, he might say he is looking for elegance and luxury not just the watch itself.

People in my age around me don’t like to have a watch on. They stick on that a mobile phone is enough, just for the time. Whatever, I still keep my watch with me.(I suddenly find it looks like a Rolex, not a Replica Rolex watch, I swear!) Cause’ in my opinion, watches are not accessories and tools to be aware of the time. They stand for one’s taste, one’s social position and one’s personality. That’s may explain why I always wear my watch. Cause’ I the one different from others, the one, the only one!
